I think during this four months, I progressive in many way such as communication with others, and some of English skills. First, I progressive that how to deal with people. After came to America, I 'm kind of make distance with others because First year of American life, I had a lot of problem with others. So I didn't want to involve in the problems so I made distance. But I thought it makes life boring so I decide to make close relationship with other. and I had a lot of fun in CSUF. Second I was not good at writing because of the I don't really narrow knowledge so I have so many straggle with choosing topic and how to write. But I'm still not good at grammar or tense. and I think I learn knowledge though CSUF's Classes. Now I want to get Toefl score to enter regular university class not ESL. In future, I want to study a lot to pass the test.
And thank you for teaching me this fall semester.

My childhood dream job and now
Today I would like to write about my dream job. I change so many times my dream job from preschool to junior high school.
When I was preschool, I wanted to become pilot because first time I rode airplane I saw pilot in airport. The pilot looks so tall and wear cloth nice, he was not looks like my farther he is totally look more handsome than my father so I wanted become like him. But I gave up so earlier because I figured out that a pilot have to have totally healthy body, and my eye was already bad that cannot be a pilot.
Second and their dream jobs are a baseball player and a soccer player. When I was 9 years old, Japanese pro soccer league just started this year. And one of the players, Kazo, came back from Brazil. And he played so good that another Japanese player’s play looks terrible if I compared which Kazo. Also zilch and Stoicbitzh and another famous player came to Japan league and played so I shocked by them and I wanted become a soccer player. At the same time, I started to play baseball. At the time, I just moved from Tokyo to Chiba so I didn’t have friends at there. And through the playing baseball, I could make baseball and I want to continue time that played with my friend. So I want to become a baseball player without any other thing actually I doesn’t like to play baseball.
Finally, my last dream job is TV director or producer in comedy field. I was growing up with TV show; I think every day I am watching over 4hour from childhood to now. I watch any kind of TV show which are comedy, drama, animation and movie. But I didn’t change my dream job from junior high school. Still I think if I have chance to be director of TV show. I want to give it try.
In Conclusion, every time if I chose my dream some events or thing s influence my dream jobs. Until Junior high school my dream jobs weren’t stable. I just wrote 3 jobs on this writing assignment, but there are around five more dream jobs until junior high school.

I think to be a good leader, a leader need several characteristics such as ability of working in social, intellectual and emotional.
First, a good leader needs s to have to be emotional because to do a good work they need to have strong idea for to do something or to change something. Someone has passion to do something. The ability makes people passionate. Ability of courage is also important to have because works is not always going well and we don’t know how new project or assignment work, so leader need to encourage people or to have courage to work for good works.
Second, a good leader needs to have ability of intellectual. For example, a leader needs imagination that drowns pictures to complete their projects or works under the perception about the present state of affairs and the analysis.
Finally, a leader also needs social ability such as organize group work and lead group to good way. Because even work in group, member are doing different thing without complete thought that share each other. It doesn’t have to be group project, the work already become individual. So leader needs to manage the member to give each different work with complete thought.
so I think these abilities need for to be good leader.

Advantage of using cellphone
I am going to write about advantages to use cellphone. Cellphone sometime bother people. but still there is a lot of advances to use. first of all, we can use for call and text message. we can use call or text message for different situation. If people want to contact someone but the person already know the person's schedule they can text and later receiver can reply by call or text message. second, parents can contact to son or daughter easily. if they was late to come back home, parents can call and make sure their position and he or she is OK. also in japan, there are kid cellphone, the cellphone has GPS system so parents can know there position by Internet or cellphone. Finally, we can use cellphone as entertainment I mean I lot of function. nowadays cellphone device grow up so fast and we can enjoy to see TV program, to listen music, to play game, also we can use as money in Japan. For example, In Japan we can use cellphone to ride transportation and buy stuffs. so it is same as credit card. In conclusion, cellphone has a lot of function that people life make more better and better. but we have to think about situation to use like don't talk in train or turn off cellphone in the theater.
historical event in your country has had a major effect on your country
What historical event in your country has had a major effect on your country? Give reasons and examples to support your response. Historical event in my country has had a major effect on Japan is High economic growth. The event continued 18 years between 1955 and 1973 which means after the world of war II. After the war, Japan was confusing until Korean war. The Korean war help Japanese economy and after 10 years from The world of war II, Japanese economic recurred same as before the war. And we had a lot of event that help Japanese economy which are Tokyo Olympics, the Vietnam War and Osaka Expo. These events make Japanese living makes better and better even before the war. On the other hand, there are many problem occurred Japanese living. We grew so fast so we had Environmental destruction by Industrial drain. It caused disease which is ”itai-itai disease” , “minamata disease” and “Yokkaichi flu”. Also we made a lot of stuff so we lack of garbage collection places, so end of this event, we had a lot of problem of pollution and waste problem, etc. the economical growth stopped by the fourth Middle East War which makes lack of oil in Japan. We call it as Oil shock. In conclusion, we had bad events during the time but I think it was the positive change in Japan.
My favorite movie
My favorite movie is Japanese comedy movie calls “That’s Cunning”. The movie made in 1996. First time I watched the movie is my sister went to rental video shop and rented the movie because she liked a main actor in the movie. Anyway I stacked on it and I watch over and over. I wish the movie came with DVD in future. Anyway I would like write little bit about the movie. The movie is about six university students who live in dormitory. One guy is smartest guy in the university and other is not hard working student. But each one has talent in specific field which is technology, survival, and cosmetic and so on… and university wants to expand their campus so they try to destroy the dormitory. And the students try to keep the dormitory. And university gives them the condition for keep the dormitory which is all six students have to get A on final exams. There are five different subjects and university knows that they cannot get even C on the Final exams. So the six students deicide to cheat on the exams. And the funny part is their techniques to cheat are so many variety ways to cheat. It is hard to explain but if I have chance to see the movie again I would like to recommend to other Japanese students because the joke or styles in the movie is I think only Japanese can understand.
Exciting but Frustrating in Japan
Nowadays, people are traveling to other countries for their vacation, and there are both exciting and frustration at the same time. Today, I would like to write about important pieces of advices that you would give visitors coming to Japan is where to visit and cost in Japan.
First of all, I do like to write where to go depends on their purposes to visit which is exciting thing in Japan. If visitor wants shopping and see hectic Japan, they should go to Tokyo. Tokyo has very nice and varieties of different countries’ food which they can enjoy. Also for especially women who want to shopping in Japan they need to go to Harajyuku, Odaiba, Roppongi and Ginza, also there place know as famous land mark in Tokyo. And visitor who wants to see traditional building in Japan probably they have to check out Kansai which consist Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Wakayama. At there you can see a lot of traditional building which are Temples, Daibutsu, and etc…. and transportation in Japan is well organized so you can go everywhere by bus and train. So you will have exciting time in Japan.
On the other hand, you will face to expense in Japan is higher than US and hectic in Japan. For example, for the local bus system is three times higher than OCTA, also taxi and train are expensive too. Maybe I also have stereotype to Japan, when I go back to Japan, I feel like people doesn’t want to give help or doesn’t want to involve to some situation especially young people. If you need help in Japan, probably you need to ask to people who is over 25 to 40. If too old they cannot understand English. So the age is good for ask.
In conclusion, Japan has a lot of place to visit and has well transportation. But, U have to consider where to go and cost that how much you can afford. And It’s better to bring a traveler’s guide book or study basic Japanese. It will help a lot for travel in Japan.

Change and Not Change
If I compare myself today and myself five years ago, I think there are same things and change myself. First of all, I would like to write down which I didn’t change from five years ago. I can not think about that major similarity but there are Miner similarity that I can think of it which are my favorite things and how to treat people. I think my basic behavior to people didn’t change from high school. I was grow up in kind of traditional Japanese family. I have to follow elder people especially father. Also I learn respect people by that time. So I can not change behavior and I think I don’t need to change a lot. Second, there are major changes from five years ago. One example, Until I came to America first time, I was too shy to talk English and not shy to speak with Japanese. Recently my friend pointed out about that. Now I became I’m not shy to use English, but I became shy to use Japanese and to relate with Japanese especially girls. I think I became afraid of talk with Japanese women. In conclusion, there are maybe a lot of change in five years but still I have a lot of stable thing or behavior that build up in my childhood.

A Japanese Soccer Players
Today I would like to write about a former Japanese player, Hidetoshi Nakata. He was born in 1977 and now he is 32 years. I started to play soccer when he was 8 years old. He was influence by a Japanese soccer manga " Captain Tsubasa". He started Carree when he was 18 years old. At that time, Japan league one (J-1) has 12 teams and he got offer from 11 teams. And He chose Bellmare Hiratsuka now we call Shonan Bellmare. Anyway he was a forward player but next year of his carrer begun, corch converted to Mid fielder which makes him so populer and nice player. My most forgettable events was Atlanta Olympic in 1996. In the group league, Japan bated Brazil. As you know Brazil is one of the best country for soccer. From my memory I think It is the first time and last time that Japan won from Brazil. So we call as "miracle of Miami". when he was 21, He transferred to SeriaA. He made significant change in the Transfer market by he moved to European. If he didn't move to and accessed in European soccer league, Japanese players couldn't move that much players. and we couldn't grow many players now. so he made a difference in soccer player transffer market.

Which Place?
If I can visit one place in the world, I would like to go Spain because I really interested in European football especially premier league and Liga Espanola. So I was thinking between England and Spain, and I choose Spain. First, why I chose Spain is because of Barcelona. Barcelona is the best team in the world today. And I want to see the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Real Madrid is one of the Strong team. And this season Real Madrid's chairperson changed and he bought a lot of fantastic players such as Kaka, Xavi Alonso and Ronaldo etc.... So this season is going to be so fun in Liga Espanola. Second also this reason relate with European Football. This season most famous Japanese player moved from Celtic to Espanyol. The player's name is Shunsuke Nakamura. He is my favorite player in world.
so that's why I like to go to Spain because i want to see European Football.

Cigarettes and Hitoshi
I would like to write about relationship between Hitoshi and cigarettes. When i was in preschool, My father was smoke cigarettes and I didn't like to smell smoke because it is smoky and disgusting smell. So My sister and I forced my father to stop smoking. It was first time I think about what is cigarettes to me. I' m still remember that I said I never smoke even I grew up, but now I'm smoking and it will continue until I find someone. Anyway, First time I tried smoking, it is my 20th birthday. I didn't know there are many kind of flavor and my friend had orange flavor. I thought it can be fit on me and I curious hows taste like. Actually it didn't fit on me so I didn't continue to smoke. After One years later, I was always hang out with Korean students and I often hang out with them. We usually went to tea-zone to eat dinner or drink boba milk tea. They were always smoking and I thought it looks good. And I asked to my friend, can I get one cigarettes. First they try to stop me but I was kind of bad mood because of one Korean girl. So I didn't listen what they said and I smoked. First 5 cigarettes didn't fit on me. but after that I get used to smoking so I continue smoking until now. My opinion is I won't recommend people to smoke and don't smoke for your future.
Memorable Event in My Life
I have to write about one of the biggest memorable events in my life, but I have many small memorable experience or events. These events cannot expand into one paragraph with my poor writing skill. So this time, I'm thinking to write about several small experiences and events in my life. When I was six years old, my family and I went swimming and fishing in the ocean. While we were fishing, My sister waved a fishing pole, and she got something. The hook stck in my arm deeply, and my father took out the hook from me. during father was taking out, my sister and mother was laughing. On the same day, My sister took me far from the coast, and she left me to floatI was so scared and drank a lot of solty water. later on, my parents got angry with my sister. this was the first and lastime which that remember, that I cried two times in the day in my life, Also I leaned how to swim this time. When i was sixteen years old, Iwas a high school student in Utah. I was joined the soccer club in the high school. We went to the final of the region tournament which was the farthestwe could go because My high school was so small, fewer than 250 students at that time, and soccer was still mainer sports in America. Anyway, i was not good at playing soccer. In the final game, I made a miracle. I scored a goal from halfwayline, almost 45 meters. I didn't mean to score, I just tried to clear the ball from an opponent player. Then we won the tournament. this was the first time to get 1st place in team sports. I had won two timein individual sports, which is 100 meters running when I was an elementally school itis not only in my school. I was school represent for truck sports. So these two experience are the most memorable events from my small memorable events.

A Person Who Had Made a Difference: Father
I would like to write about my father. He hasmade my life different in two ways. My father was born in 1954. he owns a company. He wasn't well educated until he was in high school. He studied for one year to get into one of the famous universites in Japan after he graduated from high schol. When I was in junior highschool, he had already told me the story over 10 times. He thinks education is so important, especially studing English from his experience. So, he sent me to America when I was sixteen years old, even though I didn't want to come here. I was afraid of speaking English because i was too shy to speak as you can see. After I graduated from high school, i went to back to Japan and I fought with parents because i didn't want to do anything. But, My father kept trying to send me to America again. Also, he tried to teach something helpful for the future by using famous books and news articles every sunday. In addition, he taught me that drinking is very important for business in Japan. American and foreginers tink it is strange, but it is true in Japan and some other Asian countries. Anyway, my father likes to take care of me. On the other hand, I didn't think seriously about what he taught me unti i was twenty one years old because i didn't realize I have to make many choices and tak responsibility for all my choice. Now i undersatnd how these things are importan. Although I agree with some ideas. He has changed my life alot by his experience

Introducing One of My Classmates
Hello everyone! I would like to introduce one of my classmates, David, to you. He chose his English name because it's hard for people pronounce to his Chinese name. Anyway, his real name is Lin Shinh Hsiang. He was born in Taiwan and raised in Taiwan. He has a younger sister, and he loves her. His native language is Taiwanese, but he also can speak Chinese, too. He graduated from high school there. When he was in high school, his favorite subject was mathematics. His least favorite subject was literature. Unfortunately, he never has had a job. Also he says he doesn’t have special talents, but I think he has a sense of humor. He is learning English because he wants to enter UCLA, so he wants to improve his English ability and to pass the TOEFL in order to get in. He really likes to listen to classical music. If he has free time, he always tries to listen to classical music. And his favorite composer is Ludwig van Beethoven.
Thank You.
Thank You.
